Lowe's Complaint - Wouldn't Accept Their Own Return Policy
LAWNSIDE, NEW JERSEY -- In October I purchased a washing machine. The receipt states it can be returned in 90 days unless damaged then it's 7 days. Machine not damaged I waited the 90 days hoping to get used to it. It was too small plus a couple of other things I didn't like about it. First asst. mgr. said I couldn't return it cause it was past 7 days even though I explained it wasn't damaged. I didn't want a refund, I wanted a better washer and the return policy stated said it could be turned for any reason.
2nd manager: Didn't have authority to tell me to return it. 3rd manager kept insisting 3 months was only for "other large items" even tho I downloaded their return policy online and it confirmed what I had been stating and not what they stated but if I come in they'll give me a deal on a new washer but I can't return the one I have. So then I'll be paying for 2 washers. Good thing is I have another 9 months to pay for this and that's not going to happen. What is wrong with this picture????
Lowe's personnel does not seen to know their own policy(ies) and need to get their story straight.
In the meantime I need a lawyer and that's what I'm going to do. I'd stay away from them.
