Wal-Mart Complaint - Walmart Pharmacy Staff Are Lazy
SUGAR LAND, TEXAS -- The Walmart Store on 90 and Hw6 in Sugar Land Texas is staffed by the laziest and stupidest help of any I've seen.
I called in the night before to refill a Rx for my disabled son. The Rx was for seizure control medicine. The doctor is adamant about not using generic. Late afternoon when I arrived to pick up the Rx, it wasn't ready and I was sent to the back of another line to wait another 15 minutes.
When I finally got the the window I was told the Rx was not filled because the "insurance" company (Medicare) needed a new authorization letter from the doctor justifying name brand.
I did not receive a phone call the so when I did call the office, of course, the doctor's office was closed. Walmart pharmacy staff has the doctor's number, my numbers (both home and cell) and they were too stupid and lazy to call either of us to get the form faxed into Medicare.
Aside from the fact Medicare's repeat of sending the form each year is a pain, and a way to cause problems for the doctor in the hopes they'll think its not worth it the experience with Walmart is just the last straw. I've had the Rx at Walmart for years, but will be moving it to CVS. They at least attempt customer service.
