Carrington Place Apartments - Davis Development Complaint - A Nice Place For Crime

Review by Jay11 on 2009-02-10
LAWRENCEVILLE, GEORGIA -- Carrington Place Apartments in Lawrenceville, GA used to be a nice place to live. Some people may love to live there and many may have never had a problem.

However, in the past few months, crime has been a major issue. A SWAT team broke into one of the apartments in Carrington Place Apartments and removed people. The management denied that it happened in our building and brushed it aside.

Domestic disputes have been occurring regularly and we have had to call the police. And a thief recently smashed out a car window and stole a GPS system right in front of the apartment.

There are signs everywhere in front of Carrington Place Apartments that say there is security and the staff indicate that security cameras are everywhere. Be careful if you rent here. The gates will not keep you or your children safe.

156 Bethesda Church Road has become a ghetto. Check Gwinnette County Police reports before you decide on an apartment or townhome. Their phone number is 770-513-5100. You should be able to obtain some information through an open records policy.

This trend in crime didn't happen overnight you know?
...And I thought that I had it bad! I'd be packing right now, Jay!

If you have not already done so, you may want to consider posting this on apartmentratings.com

Again, have you paid your February rent yet? Any violations on your part? Trying to get out of your lease?
These crimes didn't just start "yesterday".

No violations on my part. I just got fed up this weekend after a break-in. I did a Google search and this is what I found. When crime finally hits you, you generally get mad enough to do something about it. Will be moving ASAP.
