California Rice Oil Complaint - No Response to Multiple Emails

Review by Fermentor on 2009-02-11
NOVATO, CALIFORNIA -- I regularly purchase a gallon of Rice Bran Oil from California Rice Oil Co. It's an excellent and very healthy oil, loaded with Gamma Oryzanol, handles very high heat without issue, tastes great, and has a "balanced fatty acid composition and an ideal Omega6/Omega3 ratio."

Recently, I purchased 4 gallons. But I was curious about the pH of Rice Bran Oil (couldn't find it anywhere on the Net) so I emailed them about it and got no response. I re-emailed them and still no response. I then emailed my question to the department's address that sent me my order confirmation. Still absolutely no response.

I would have called them on the phone but I tend to keep "vampire hours."

Though the product, shipping, and packaging are tops, their ability to respond to emails, especially from a long time (4 years) customer, is appallingly poor. If some other company were to offer the same high quality product, I'd give them a try. But as it is, they have no competition.

I will continue to order from them but don't expect their customer dis-service department to ever step up to the plate and do their job.

I wonder if they think the question is for real.

The pH level ranges from 7.0 to 11 depending on the formula used. Easy enough to find.

Since this rice oil is so healthy, I think I will throw some of it at the next wedding.
