Comcast Corporation Complaint - "Smart Zone" Not Smart For Customers
As a Comcast customer for more than a decade, we are very displeased about the declining quality of Comcast internet service. The new "Smart Zone" email service is a giant deterioration in the speed, quality and accessibility, IMO. Print size is reduced significantly (a problem for people with even slight visual impairment problems). Enlarging print with ones own computer settings also increases the size of the very excessive and junky ads while also slowing the viewing of the actual messages. Multiple complaints to Comcast over the past three weeks have not resolved the problems. Promised call-backs from supervisors have not yet been returned. CS reps often appear to be under trained or otherwise unable to resolve rather basic service problems, imo. More often than not, the CS agent seems to blame the customer - very ironic since I am a post-Ph. D. retired professor who has used computers for more than 30 years!
The lack of adequate CS skills, unwarranted 'blame the customer, attitude, declining service quality and internet speed now have me seeking another service. "Interestingly" when we complained about the decreased internet speed the CS reps NEVER disagreed, but tried to sell me a higher speed service! The speed was fine until the last few months -- just when reps pushed to sell a higher speed service.
I hope Comcast does not sink the way so many companies have recently -- but they look headed in that direction, in my view.
