Verizon Complaint - Don't Listen To The Reps!
LEHIGH VALLEY, PENNSYLVANIA -- I signed up with Verizon in Aug. of 2008. I noticed that my bill was high and just called to check it out. They said they pro rated it and with all the new connections was the reason for it being so high. Ok then I would of just paid it. Instead the woman said I didn't get the promotions going on at the time and she would look into getting me credit for it. She said don't pay the bill until she calls back. She didn't. So I called back 2 days later. Another woman said don't worry that it was put in for a supervisor to look at and that they will get back to me. And that was the story until I called and just wanted to pay the original bill which was becoming later and later. A representative finally told me that they were giving me internet for 6 months free and whatever else that was a promotion then. He said then that all I had to pay was $189.00 and my bill would be cleared up. I asked if he was sure and he said yeah and to proceed to pay the new monthly charges as they came normally. I thought everything was ok.
Now 6 months later they start shutting the services off saying that I owed money. And now nobody has it on record who talked to who. All I wanted to do in the beginning was pay the full bill and go on. They are the ones who went back on their word. They should of never tried to help me if they were gonna just turn around and screw me later. I talked to like 20 different people in a hour and forty five mins. cause all they did was switch me back and forth to different departments. And nobody knew what was going on. I hate to see what would happen if there was a real problem. I am going to pay the full amount cause that's all I wanted to do in the first place. I am definitely cancelling their services.
Little do they know that with in the next month I am opening my own corporation and was actually thinking of using them for my business purposes. Thank GOD things happen for a reason. To bad for you Verizon.
