Cordia Communications Complaint - My Mom Was Scammed Too
I just read the review from the person who's 74 year old mother was scammed by Cordia. My 75 year old mother was scammed also. My mother received a call from a Cordia representative on or around November 16th. She too was confused by their double talk (or to be more precise if I may, she couldn't understand half of what they were saying because they were foreign(sorry no disrespect). I called and spoke with a foreign lady (once again no disrespect). Due to the language barrier and the fact that it sounded like she was working in a big warehouse with over 100 people talking, I tried to explain to her that my mother has been with AT&T for years and to date is still paying her AT&T billing. She told me that in order for me to cancel her plan with Cordia, I would have to call AT&T and get a WORK SERVICE ORDER NUMBER? I asked her why I would have to do that and she told me that if I didn't, and my mother didn't pay the Cordia bill, they CORDIA would shut off her phone. I TOLD HER CORDIA HAD BETTER NOT CUT OFF HER PHONE SERVICE. I then ask to speak to a supervisor and she put me on hold for 10-15 minutes and came back and said that her manager was tied up on another call and would not be able to take my call. I THEN SAID, "OH ANOTHER IRATE CHILD CALLING ABOUT THEIR PARENT GETTING SCAMMED TOO I BET".
I told her that I too was going to contact the Better Business Bureau and hung up on her. I would like to know how to get this taken care of but I don't know where or whom to call. Any suggestions??
