Airtel Complaint - Poor Customer Service

I, Arpan Das, took a new Sim Card as I lost my old one about 24 hrs ago & is still not activated. I called up customer service 7 times as of now but it made no difference. The supervisor by the name of Manas (Kolkata Call Centre) was supposed to resolve the matter and call back within a Turn Around Time, however he did not bother to do that and never called back. When I have taken the Sim (February 13th, 2009 at 2.30pm) the store executive at Dum Dum (Kolkata) by the name of Subir Halder said that it will be activated within 2 hours and is not done as of now (February 14th, 2009 at 11am). I spoke with the Retention Manager without much joy.

I firmly believe that Airtel is a fully grown company and does not need any more customers and thus they are least bothered about customer satisfaction.

I have no joy reading about your experience either. I'm sorry they treated you this way.
