Target Complaint - Warranty Not Honored
BONNEY LAKE, WASHINGTON -- Bought a camera from Target...bought the warranty. Camera did not work...so in good faith we boxed it up and sent it in to be serviced. The camera was returned with a good sized list of all that had been checked and serviced. Said it was now in working order.
Took 5 pictures and same problem. We sent it back to them within 5 days....yes..just 5 days...the responsible thing to do....we didn't leave it laying around for 3 months and then send it.
Now after they have had it a few weeks they say it has damage to it that is not covered by the warranty.
It was only in our hands for 5 days and sent right back. If any damage was done it was on their end. They will not honor the warranty and say that the cost of repair will be $249.00! We paid $199.00 and didn't even get to use it! On top of that every person we have spoken with has been rude.
We have logged the name of those we talked to..the times and dates..have our paperwork and their return paperwork. All of our ducks are in a row to fight this battle and we expect nothing less then for them to honor their warranty. This will not end until they do.
