Italian Inn Complaint - Worst Dining Experience - Ruined My Valentine's Day

FORT WORTH, TEXAS -- My boyfriend and I went to Italian Inn last year for Valentine's Day and had a good time. Last night was absurd and I was completely disgusted with the service, the overall appearance of the restaurant, and the overall experience. I expected another romantic evening and felt like I had gone through hell by the time I left. We made reservations for 8:30 and we asked to be seated at a booth. The wait for a booth was supposedly thirty to forty minutes. As we're talking to the hostess a man in a tacky suit waltzes up and says he was already seated but saw a booth opening up and wanted to move to it. Of course, he got to move. We were seated at a cramped table right next to another couple. Our waitress was rude and unprofessional, and showed no interest in being considerate. We ordered our drinks and our food shortly afterwards. We saw a booth opening up shortly after we were seated so we asked to move.

Right as she went to see if we could move, another couple was seated there. Our waitress came back and told us only the people arriving could be seated in a booth, and that we had to stay where we were. Remember the tacky suit man? He was already seated and got to move to a booth. Our drinks were never refilled even though our waitress refilled drinks of the people next to us, and she had walked by our table several times. I found what seemed like eggshells in my pasta, and my boyfriends food was undercooked.

Our night was completely ruined by the staff of this restaurant. I sat at our table crying because I was so angry and miserable. My boyfriend contacted the manager to tell him about our wasted time and money, not to mention "romantic dinner". He was then CUSSED OUT by the manager and told never to call back or come into the restaurant to complain. So much for a nice evening out. I ended up in tears and my boyfriend ended up with a wasted fifty dollars.

I am completely disgusted with the unprofessional staff and horrible facility. Don't waste your time or money here, you'll be utterly disappointed.

Based on your experience you definitely deserve your money back.

If you paid with a card you can dispute the charge.
