NEWINGTON, CONNECTICUT -- Just wanted to let potential customers know of the extremely poor customer service at Bob's Discount Furniture. I had placed an order for a bed from the Newington, CT Bob's and the delivery time they scheduled, (7am!!!!) did not work. I was told that the scheduling was random and unable to be changed so we would have to cancel and reschedule. I said that was fine and I would simply keep canceling until I got a time that worked. At no time did I raise my voice. (up to that point at least!) Immediately a manager picks up the phone and the first thing they said was "I don't like the way you just talked to my employee, maybe we should just cancel the order." Now I was starting to get mad and 2 or 3 more condescending remarks from the manager was the breaking point. I got supervisor info, canceled the order and will be writing an official complaint.
The point: If you like low quality furniture sold with horrible customer service, stop one should be Bob's Discount Furniture, Newington, CT.
