Cingular Wireless Complaint - Right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing
BEDFORD, TEXAS -- I must say I have had nothing but poor service from Cingular since day 1. Back in November I had added Cingular as my wireless carrier through SBC, They were going to port my number from verizon. After a month of not receiving my phones I gave them a call. They stated my phones had not been shipped. I spoke to three different people and was finally told my order was complete, I would receive my phones in 3-5 days. A week went by and I called again. They said the phones didn't ship the order didn't go through. Again I was told order complete we will ship these priority to you. Now it is the middle of january and I sit still waiting for the phones, I call again and ask to speak to a manager, the girl comes back I can't find a manager is there anything I can help you with. I explain my story and she says oh this should not happen let me see what I can do. I spent an hour on the phone and again was assured my order went through and I would recieve my phones, they are being shipped priority. Begining of February, I finallly recieve one of my phones. The wrong number was ported to it. I was told there was nothing that could be done. I ask where the second phone is " I can't find the order" I get transfered to another person who finds the order. Finally found some one who I thought knew what she was doing, she gives me her email address "if you have any problems email me and I will call you, When you recieve the second phone email me and I will fix everything" Well now I have recieved both phones, I email, nothing. So I call. Finally think both phones are ready to go. I tried to call the other phone the other day got a message the Verizon number you have called has been disconnected. I knew that but it should still ring it is cingular now. I call cingular. the girl says let me see what is going on, after an hour on the phone she says the port service was not complete, I said well then how did you activate the phone? Regardless, I would think Cingular owes me something for this due to all the hours I spent on the phone with them but what do I get, Nothing. Barley even got a sorry. I just hope that the rest of my service with them is not as rocky as the two and a half months of hassle I went through just to receive the phones.
