WESTMINSTER, COLORADO -- As Neutrogena has disabled the 'Contact Us' link on their site, I have no way of telling them that this mascara does not provide "Defined, natural-looking lashes" nor does it "Go on clean, rinses clean"; it is not a "Conditioning formula" and it is most certainly NOT "Hypo-allergenic". These are all tags Neutrogena uses on the packaging and on their site to describe this product. It has a harsh chemical smell and, as it breaks-down during the day, it gets into the eyes causing a burn similar to sunscreen. It takes several applications before it provides any kind of tint to the lashes, but not enough to warrant the purchase of this smelly product.
I am very blonde and I was looking for a day-off-from-makeup look...tinted SPF moisturizer and lash tint only. This was no kind of lash tint...just a waste of seven bucks.

did you shake uo the contianer? i know all brands needs to be shaken to mix.
there is a warning on the package that says if any of the above that happened to you, happens, dis-continue use of the product.

Maybe you got a bad tube. I've used this product and while it didn't knock my socks off (I need more help in the lash dept. than it provides), it certainly didn't smell bad or burn my eyes.
I would have returned the product to the store immediately if it was me.

If you experienced a burning sensation, definitely don't use this product again. I've always had good luck with Bare Escentuals makeup line...more expensive, but it's a much better product then typical store brands and lasts longer too.

I actually like Great Lash mascara. It's not expensive, it works good, and it doesn't take forever to come off. I've never cared for Neutrogena products they've always dried my skin out really bad and they cost too much. If you need help in the lash department Loreal makes this mascara that has two sides, one is like a primer and the other is mascara, it works really good.
