Ashley Furniture Complaint - Terrible Company
HUNTSVILLE, ALABAMA -- My advice for anyone even thinking about buying from Ashley is PLEASE do your research. Just Google "Ashley Furniture Complaints" and you will be amazed at the response. I ordered a sofa and loveseat set, within a week the sofa cushion began bunching up in the center. The sofa technician said this indeed was not normal. We had the sofa replaced. Again, within 2 weeks it did the same thing. Again- the sofa was replaced. We went through 3 sofas in 4 months! Ashley told us we could not reorder the same some again after 3 bad ones. Then, Ashley let us upgrade to a Pleather sofa set- which it basically fell apart the same as the first three.. This time, I was fed up and just wanted my $1800.00 back. The buying agreement did not specify that if the sofa was DEFECTIVE by the MANUFACTURER the consumer would still be FORCED to keep it! Ashley was ripped me off, and apparently thousands of others. I work at the local Police Dept, and I have spread the news to everyone I know, my next step is the media, who I see every day. Someone has to shut these people down.
Customer service is HORRIBLE! If I wanted to report everything Ive been through with this company, you guys would be reading for quite some time. Please, DON'T BUY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE! Their products are JUNK!
