Holiday Inn Complaint - Sleepless Nights - Hotel Stay (Holiday Inn Sunspree, Virginia Beach)
VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA -- We were in the mood to reserve the extra room (Suite) on the beach. What was supposed to be a pleasant visit with our son before he departs on his long journey overseas in the Navy turned out to be a disaster. To break it down in it's simplest form here it goes:
-Bath tub and sink did not flow properly: I believe we all need our feet treated.
-The phone did not work: They did finally fix it.
-Stayed in a room next to the storage room: Could not sleep before 10:00pm due to the noise.
-Kids running around in the room above us at 07:00am: This should of never been an issue if they put the family on the first floor.
-The smallest elevators in the world must be at this hotel: We waiting for 30 minutes to get on the elevator, but finally decided to carry all of our things down the stairwell (Very Difficult).
-The parking lot assigned to this hotel is across the street and is very tight. Our brand new Camry was hit while parked and we had the disturbing opportunity to witness two other cars hit in this same parking area. This all happened in 2 days.
-When checking out of the hotel, one would believe that the staff member behind the desk would want to know how my stay was, not this time. I did voice my concern to the individual who did not act surprised.
I have stayed in over 1,000 hotels that ranged from low budget to the Ritz, and these folks have me excited about writing a review.
