Conn's Appliances Complaint - Conn's Does Not Care As Long As They Get Your Money Upfront!
BEAUMONT, TEXAS -- I have personally observed Conn's taking advantage of an 80-year-old lady with dementia who has been a customer of theirs since their first store opened. The problem stems from misrepresentation by the salesperson in regard to a simple installation of a 46" installation to arrogant, condescending attitudes of all "administrators" contacted. These people have their "already listening ear" turned on and have no desire to really LISTEN to valid concerns. The fact that they willingly support poor delivery, poor installation with remarks like "the TV is on the wall ain't it?" and "you signed the contract upfront agreeing to the charges, didn't you?" are unforgivable for a company of that size. Without having to repeat their entire poor process and rude answers, my only advice is to NEVER use these con artists again. They are not your friendly neighborhood appliance service of fold. They are only out for the almighty dollar and have no conscience! I am currently dealing with this matter through mediation; hopefully, more dissatisfied customers will do that rather than let them "win."
Of of their so-called 1258 "resolved" issues over a 36-month period, over 800 were considered resolved because the customers just finally gave up trying to fight them!
