Wyndham Complaint - Deceptive Promotion Get Up & Go St. Thomas!

Review by kfnyc on 2009-02-18
I was given a certificate for two to enjoy a 5 day/4 night getaway to St. Thomas after sitting through a ridiculous time share pitch. I decided to redeem my gift this week, but when I contacted Get Up & Go I was informed that St. Thomas was no longer available and I had to choose another destination.

It's completely ridiculous because there's no other option comparable to this voucher except for Hawaii which I've already been. They didn't notify any of the voucher holders and scrambled for excuses as to why it's impossible to contact everyone.

Such crap.

My wife signed us up for one of those time share sales pitch waste of time things. The guy kept trying to sell me,but I wasn't budging. After about 25 minutes he came back and said "you're not interested are you?" I told him this was a waste of time,I don't stay at resort type places when I vacation...He gave us the cruise vouchers and we were on our way...We never used them, they were pretty budget...

Even though you say you've been to Hawaii, why not go back? I love the islands, there is so much to see and do.
