General Motors Complaint - Incompetent After Sales Service
EAST LONDON SOUTH AFRICA, ALASKA -- I have recently purchased an Opel Corsa without test driving it due to the fact that they never had a demo to let drive. Well where do I start. A week after I purchased the vehicle it had to go back because of and error with the indicator globe fusing. I told them that I do understand that the globes are not under warranty but come now anyway they replaced it for me. Not long after that while washing my car I noticed it had deep insertions in the metal work and some body had touched it up. I took it back to them, They then sent it in for repairs which I said was not on, its a new car they said there is nothing they can do but to send it in. I let them do it. It came back with two more dings in the door and it had to go back to the panel beaters again for a second time which really made me mad but anyway it went in again. Then the car started to leak I told them they could not find anything wrong, I left it. Then I complained that the Drivers seat was faulty. They told me it could not be, I had to show them. Then they replaced the Base of the seat and told me it was fixed. Well eventually they replaced the entire seat and guess what! You guess right still doing the same thing. 2 years of this and eventually GM said the are sending a recall out on the seat there is a problem. Why not listen to me in the first place. Now this is the Best part my tires are wearing on the outside. They themselves admit that the wheel alignment is in and balancing is in but they can do nothing until the sales representative comes out.
I in turn had to get proof that it was not the tires fault which I did get. The sales representative basically brushed me off and told me that I should get help somewhere else cause he can find nothing wrong with the. I have booked my car into the AA now at my expense. Will keep you posted. This problem started at 14000km and I have to replace them now!
