Dish Network Complaint - Cancellation Of Service
I had Dish installed and within 24 (yes 24) hours I cancelled the service. I was ensured not only by Customer Service and the Cancellation Dept. there would be no charge to my account, I got employee names & their ID #'s. After I completed that call and we hung up I still thought I would double check so I called again to the Billing Dept. and removed my account from auto pay and went to paper bill. 1 week later I had $144.46 deducted from my checking account. It took 3 minutes for my satellite to be turned off but will take another week to receive my refund. In addition, they want ME TO PAY to watch local channels! The product they sold wasn't what was delivered. CONSUMERS beware.
If you don't mind getting ripped off go with Dish and if you don't go with someone else. Luckily for me my original service, took me back with no additional charges.
