McDonald's Corporation Informative - Nigel Haskett - Denial of Workmen's Comp

ALASKA -- Shame on McDonalds for their attempt to deny worker's comp to this employee who was shot as a result of a good Samaritan deed.

"Recent reports would lead you to believe this is a clear cut case of an employee not getting compensation for an injury that happened at his workplace. However, the fact of the matter is that I do not have control over whether my employee's claim is paid by Worker's Compensation. It is my understanding that there has not been a final determination by the Arkansas Worker's Compensation Commission. I am taking this very seriously, and doing what I can to help, and I hope his claim will come to a quick resolution and the right thing will be done for my employee."

Don't trust anything the media tells you. They spin stories for ratings...nothing more. If you want to complain know the full story.
