Circuit City Complaint - Bad Phones - 3 Panasonic Cordless Phones

Review by ayoroa on 2009-02-24
COLUMBUS, OHIO -- I brought 3 Panasonic Phones for Circuit City last week before I brought them I was told that 2 of the phones had no batteries, what I wasn't told that they had no power cords to them. I called the store and talk to John who told me that the phones were probably the display models and then don't have any cords to them and the phones are sold as is. I ask how can they sell the phones with out the cords? They are crap with out them he said that I can buy them through radio shack or get an universal one, I told that I look up in the internet for them and they didn't have them and he told me phones are as is. So I ask him for the corporate number and he said that circuit city no longer exist so I said who brought you out he said SG Capital Group, told him this is bull **** and hung up.

I am tired looking up that company and its a apartment complex, how do I get a hold about some about this issue?

There probably isn't anything you can do about it, there were some posts yesterday around a similar situation and someone posted where the rules are different for a company in bankruptcy/going out of business. It's pretty sad that CC wants to go out being remembered as a nothing more than a money hungry loser.

justbcuz CC isn't the one controlling the company's actions anymore the liquidator is.

CC is closed all that is left is a big garage sale. They will put a sticker on it and some one will buy it that is all the care about. Went to the one here yesterday because a freind bout one of their display cases for his shop. The set evry thing in the floor and we walked out with the case. Its buyer be ware and if you bought it you are stuck with it.
