Sears Complaint - Customer Service Is Nonexistent
DENVER, COLORADO -- I own a calypso washer, which though extremely expensive is a piece of garbage and which is why so many product liability lawsuits have been filed. I have had it fixed perhaps 4 or 5 times. By the way, I have a long term service contract. I called several days ago for a repair. Today, Thursday February 26,2009 I was to stay home from 1-5pm. I did and they never came and never called. So I called an found out they never intended to come because they were overbooked. Because I did not want to miss any work I asked them if they could come after 5 and they they told me they don't allow overtime. So I asked for Saturday and they offered me a Saturday 8 days from now. I have a family of five so time is of the essence. So we settled on next Monday with another 4 hour window!!!! One would think that they would at least put me first on their list so I don't have to miss more work, but they told me that was not possible. These Sears service contracts only work if you don't value your time at all!!!!!
Contract hourly and the service person will be there or lose you as a customer. I would have saved a fortune on lost time if I had just thrown the Sears machine away and bought a new one.
