Waterwise Complaint - This Company's Water Distillers Are False

Review by danna on 2009-02-27
CALIFORNIA -- This so called water distiller makes boiled water, not distilled water. Boiled water with metallic taste. I called Waterwise to discuss this issue with them, but the person kept saying "this is a distiller, this is a distiller"
I wanted to say back that just because you named it that doesn't make it so. I threw away $350 on a product that's completely false. And now need to throw out this junky product as well as it is taking up space because neither the company that I bought it from nor Waterwise is decent enough to refund me my money.

I don't know what else I can do?

Inform the Federal Trade Commission about the false advertising and fraudulent labeling of the product, and the Consumer Product Safety Commission (because if people think that the product will actually decontaminate contaminated water like it is advertised to, they may unwillingly poison themselves).
