Empire Today Complaint - Empire Today - Horrible Product, Horrible Service
MASSACHUSETTS -- In August 2005, Empire Today installed wall to wall carpet in our master bedroom, living/dining room, hall, home office, and guest bedroom. The carpet arrived cut incorrectly, resulting in the installer having to make an extra seam under the bed in the master bedroom. The installation in all rooms was very poor, with ragged edges along most walls; carpet cut short where it joined with the kitchen tile, bricks of the fireplace hearth, and wood floors of the family room. Almost immediately, it started to show signs of wear, so we arranged for inspections on two different occasions. Both times we were told that the horribly packed-down fibers were "normal wear".
Since the second "inspection", they never return phone calls or emails. We wasted nearly $5000 to have what looks like very old apartment-grade carpet. It was an extremely expensive mistake.
