Priceline.com Complaint - Charged For A Room I Did Not Book!
ARIZONA -- I booked a room through Priceline, like I have a million times, except this time, I booked two months in advance, usually I book last minute. One week before my trip, I got another charge on my credit card for another $400 for a room, I supposedly bid on. It was the same price, the exact same dates, and the same area, but a different hotel. I called Priceline immediately after I saw the email confirming my hotel, and told them I had not done it, they ended up sending me to an "escalation department??", and a woman named [snip], hung up on me after yelling at me! I wrote to the Vice President of Priceline, since management does not speak to it's customers, this was just yesterday, so I hope she writes back. My suggestion is just make sure you always delete your credit card info from your Priceline profile, because they don't really need that security code on the back of the card to charge you.
My card was charged without my security code! I'm working with my bank now, but don't know if and when this will get resolved!
