HSBC Complaint - Taking away my "earnings" for another GM car
CINCINNATI, OHIO -- I have been with the GM card for quite a few years. Got a bill today that says my "expired earnings" from my accumulated $1,772.00 towards a new GM car were $13.62. Next month will be $91.28, April will be $33.75, May will be $28.44. Are they just pulling numbers out of a hat until finally you have nothing left that you have accumulated? I am seething mad. I am in the process of filing bankruptcy and kept this one credit card only in case I need to buy a car in the future. Obviously there won't be any earnings left when I go to buy another car. No advance notice that this was going to happen or anything. I think I am going to go ahead and put it into the bankruptcy and they will get 0.00 from me. At least now I am making my payments, but that will end when I surrender the card to the attorney and the bankruptcy. Are these credit card/car companies that desperate? My daughter has a credit card that she pays off on time every month. They just raised her interest rate from 14% to 27%. All of this is totally unethical, unfair and a disgrace to the the United States of America.
I will be talking to my attorney about this for sure, as well as getting rid of this card.
