Web Coast Ventures Complaint - Worthless Spam Company

Review by Kill-WebCoastVentures666 on 2009-03-03
BUFFALO, MINNESOTA -- Web Coast Ventures is a worthless SPAM email sending company(as are most). For the last couple of years I have been getting these unsolicited junk mails from this company. They totally overwhelm my pc with crap I never asked for to begin with, and every time I go and unsubscribe. It got to the point that I actually sent them a "snail mail" and demanded they remove my email address. Still they continue! They have literally wasted DAYS of my time!! Isn't there something (other than having to change my email address) that we can do, like a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT??? I feel as though I am being harassed and I cannot stand it anymore!!!!!!!!!

LET'S ALL START SENDING THEM CRAP THEY DO NOT WANT!! SEND IT TO:

Other than making a few lawyer friends wealthy, what would you get out of a Class Action Lawsuit against them? The company might have to pay a fine or something...that's about it.

By they way, when you get "spam" e-mail, your best bet is to just delete it/mark it as spam in your e-mail application. If you click the "unsubscribe" link, you have just informed the "spammer" that your e-mail address is an active account, and you will now get exponentially more spam as your "active" account is added to more and more lists.

KC, I didn't know that. I always hit unsubscribe and then wonder why I am getting sent three times more junk mail than before.

Like KCRovert said using an unsubscribe link just tells them there is a live person on the other end. They add the email address to a list which in turn gets sold. Best bet is to delete it.

Send them a letter in certified mail demanding that they stop emailing you.

If they continue sending the emails, then sue them.
