Nissan Informative - Nissan Service - Armada
MONCLAIR, CALIFORNIA -- Having owned 2 previous Nissan vehicles and been very satisfied. I was very eager to purchase the Nissan Armada. I purchased the Aramda LE ($40,000)from Metro Nissan, Montclair, CA. After 6000 miles the front rotors where damaged beyond repair. The dealership informed me that I had probably got the rotors wet then braked hard ??
My vehicle was in the shop for 8 days. I had daily calls with customer service who informed me that they could not get parts. They finally removed rotors from the prototype vechicle and drove them out to the dealership where they installed the replacements. 2000 miles later the rotors went out again. I have been informed that my vehicle will be in the shop for 3 weeks or so due to a parts shortage. I have had 6 visits to the dealership and a total of 29 days in the shop.I therefore thought I could use the Lemon Law to get out of this mess. The attorney I contacted informed me that it would cost me $3000 for the mileage offset and attorney fee's and even then its not sure thing, also it may take up to a year to go through the system.
This is without doubt the worst service, the most expensive product I have purchased.
I feel as a consumer that the Lemon Law does not work and the big companies can get away with murder.
