TracFone Complaint - No Refund Even If They Fail To Give You What They Promise
NEW CASTLE, PENNSYLVANIA -- On my new TracFone the first PIN I entered was for "Double Minutes for Life." It failed to double any minutes. An hour on hold and then the phone with "Marva" got only one answer repeated endlessly: "The PIN number you read to me is for a 200 minute card, not a double minute card." Never mind that the card and the receipt both clearly state "double minutes." CVS eventually refunded me for the phone, for the double minute card and for a 400 minute card, but only after another hour of phone calls from the CVS shift manager to TracFone, to CVS corporate headquarters and then to her off-duty store manager.
TracFone refused to refund CVS. If I owned a store, I would not carry TracFone. I urge everyone to avoid this product.
