Qwest Complaint - Payment - Phone Bill
SEATTLE, WASHINGTON -- I was with Qwest when they were still US West. I ran into some trouble in 02 my bill was 500 and some odd dollars they shut off my phone. I paid it and they turned it back on. Every few years they would try to collect that same bill again and again. I would get it settled with them and then sure enough a few years later they want the money again.
Last year I got a letter saying they are getting out of the cell phone business and told me I would have to go to Verizon. Thank god Verizon has treated me well.
I got a final bill I paid it in January of 09 and it of course is in collections even though I paid it. I called them today and said hey I paid this why is marked not paid. they said well you paid that but the 2002 bill of $500 came up yet again. I am fed up with this nasty company. Thank god I have nothing with them any more.
The ironic thing is, this company does not let you keep your phone connected if you do not pay it. They shut it off. Unbelievable they have done this to me over and over again anytime I was late with any bill. This bill is the one that stands out now because of course they told me I owe this. What they do not tell the credit bureau that they shut of your phone if you have a balance un-paid!
