Washington Mutual Complaint - WAMU Chase Debit Cards
Recently WAMU replaced my Gold debit MasterCard with a blue chase debit MasterCard. I was surprised to find that they had changed my PIN number when issuing this new card. After waiting for a week to get my PIN (Having no ATM access to my cash and having to enter the bank to cash checks) I received my new PIN in the mail. I called the customer service number on the back of my card to change my PIN back to my normal PIN number. They now tell me that I can not change my PIN over the phone and that I have to visit a branch location and speak with a teller. The whole point of having this card and PIN is so I don't have to talk to a teller. I was always able to change my PIN over the phone, but not anymore.
Thanks for the great service Chase, I think I will go talk to Bank of America now.
