Ashley Furniture Complaint - Still Waiting
HOOVER, ALABAMA -- My boyfriend and I decided to buy a new dining room set from Ashley Furniture. We picked one out and paid for it in cash, aware of the no refund policy. We decided to pick it up from the warehouse in Leeds rather than paying the $89 to have it delivered. We paid a $25 fee to have it assembled and ready. Since no one ever called me to tell me my table was ready, I had to call to see if the warehouse had it or not. The representative told me it was there and could be picked up. My family showed up to get it and it was still in the box unassembled. When they told the workers it was supposed to be assembled the worker said, "you'll have to wait a while." This was after they had already waited almost an hour.
My dining room table and chairs are still sitting in my living room unassembled. I have not received one phone call regarding the matter, and when I try to call I am unable to reach a real live person. I will have to take time out of my busy schedule to be here when Ashley decides to send someone out to assemble my furniture.
