Time Warner Cable Complaint - Kansas City Time Warner Cable Warning
KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI -- I can't take any more of their crappy service. Like other complaints I've read, the phone and Internet service stop working on a nearly daily basis. If the Internet is up and running, it's running slow about 50% of the time. I've had a herd of technicians to my house. They always tell me something ridiculous, like "your computer is old and that's why it's slow" or "there have been a lot of problems with that computer model running slow." The last time they were supposed to send out a "supervisor" because there must be a problem with the box outside. I swear it was an 18 year old that had worked for them less than 6 months that showed up. The cable reception is very, very poor. I mean sometimes it's so bad you can't tell what you're watching. Most times we can't even get all the channels. I've had 3 DVRs in less than 2 years. I'm waiting for a call back from customer service tomorrow because they WILL release my contract. (Oh, yeah, they extended my contract by sending me a letter saying if I didn't reply, my contract would be extended.
I don't believe that is a legally binding contract anyway.) Don't EVER get involved with this company. Run the other direction! Customer service is horrendous! I was on hold for over 45 minutes tonight.
