Magellan Complaint - Add My Name To List Of Dissatisfied Customers
Our Roadmate totally died after 2 yrs. and use of maybe 6 times. Called to get it repaired, after much blah blah, they told us several things to try. None worked. Another call, more try this and than. Nothing. Emailed back and forth for weeks. Now they finally admit that the unit is no longer made---but they have no parts so it cannot be fixed. We paid nearly 300 bucks for this. After more phone calls they admitted that at the time, we bought this, at Target, it was already not being made. WHAT?? So before we even bought it it was obsolete and could not be repaired. They keep wanting us to send it back and buy a different one at a discount. We won't let that company have one more penny of our money.
When we asked where the service person was located, she only said eastern US----ya right, not! Stay away from this company--horrible!
