DHL Complaint - DHL Steals Stuff - Residential Next Day
SCOTLAND -- Bought a PC case off Dabs.com, and thought id like to build myself a computer, however with me being at school during the day I had it delivered to the school I go to, my dad works there so its ok.
I went onto the DHL website to check the status of my parcel which I noticed was a day behind schedule already and noticed that it had been delivered, so I thought I would go down to reception and pick it up during a free.
Heres the twist, the parcel was apparently delivered at 08:02 in the morning during which time reception isn't open and the only people there are the janitors, who knew nothing about the parcel and whom I trust implicitly. The next twist is that the parcel was apparently signed for by someone called A Smith, which is interesting seeing as nobody of that name works at the school and the students don't arrive in until about 08:15. So I contacted Dabs who say they are going to look into it and see if they can get me a copy of the signature that signed for the DHL parcel. At which point I am thinking of taking this to the police. Why?
Well because heres what I think happened. I ordered quite a flashy case, but thats all it is, a case, no components inside, but I think the driver took a look at the outside of the box for the case and though "oooh a new computer", faked the signature and then vanished off with the package because frankly I don't think that the package even made it to the town of delivery never mind the actual delivery address...
I an seriously considering legal action against DHL for this.
Moral: Don't use DHL
