Wal-Mart Complaint - TV over $500 died after less than a year-Walmart refused to exchange or refund
We bought a Vizio VP322 TV from Walmart last year. The TV completely died when we'd had it less than a year; approximately 7-8 months.(One morning it refused to power on and it had NOT been storming, so we knew that a power surge was not the cause.) When we tried to return it for either an exchange (which is what we really wanted) or refund, Walmart refused. Management stated that it was over 90 days since the purchase date. Frankly, I think that if Walmart is going to sell a product, then they should stand behind it. (Walmart USED to be my favorite place to shop.) A
fter the customer service (or lack thereof), it has me re-thinking future purchases.
