Verizon/Alltel Complaint - Bad Service Over Charging

TUCSON, ARIZONA -- I do not recommend Alltel, they're all about money, bad service. One hand doesn't know what the other one is doing. Everyone tells you a different thing. I've been dealing with then for several months, they were charging me for service and a phone I didn't have and they didn't have the courtesy to let me know, they just kept charging me but they were very quick to be calling trying to collect my money. I have cancelled service on a phone, they told me they couldn't turn the service off because I had to pay the termination fee. I tried to make arrangements to pay the fee, they said it had to be paid all at once. I asked again what kind of arrangements I could make, they insisted they couldn't do it unless I told them how much money I could pay. They couldn't take payments of $50.

Every time you get a bill there is always some other charge and your bill keeps going up.

Alltel service if very bad. My advice is, DO NOT DO SERVICE WITH THEM!

They breached the contract first by charging for inexistent service. You should not have to pay a cancellation fee based on that.

Contact the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau of the FCC and your state's Office of the Attorney General.
