Priceline.com Complaint - Never Again... - Travel Package
I will never make the mistake of booking through Priceline.com. It is the gift that just keeps on giving or wasting my time. I booked a package to Ohio for a business trip. On the day of my return my flights were canceled due to a snowstorm. Another airline was still operating so most of the travelers on my flight asked for a refund so that they could purchase with the other carrier. When I got to the counter I was told that I would receive no refund because I had booked with Priceline.com. I paid for another flight - which cost $300.00 to get home. The next day I called Delta and was told that they would gladly refund the return part of my trip but it would have to be sent to Priceline who would then forward it to me. I have spent hours on the phone trying to get a $60.00 refund from Priceline. Customer service is rude and on each call they just act like they have never heard of this problem.
At this point they could keep the $60.00 but my boss is asking for the refund so I keep waiting on hold...and waiting...and waiting. Do yourself a favor - pay full price PLUS instead of booking through Priceline.com. You will thank me when you need to change a flight or a date.
