Paragon Honda Complaint - Classic Bate And Switch

Review by Raiders on 2009-03-19
QUEENS, NEW YORK -- I called Paragon 15 minutes b/4 going there regarding an ad in the Daily News. It was for an Accord coupe. I was told the car was available. But when I got there, the car was not to be found. After 4 hrs. I was offered a more expensive car with a trumped up certified used car fee. These people prey on unsophisticated customers. I can't believe these creeps are still in business. If you want to waste time and money go there.

I bought a car from Hillside Honda the next day. There are plenty of very reputable Honda Dealers around buy Paragon isn't one of them.

I had a problem with a Honda dealer a lot of years ago. The salesman said a used Civic I wanted was $7,000 and they refused to go any lower. I said "The book value of the car is only $5,000." He said "I know it's only worth $5,000. but I'm not going to sell it to you for $5,000 when I can find some sucker to pay $7,000." I immediately walked out and never went back.
