ROWLAND, NORTH CAROLINA -- As a consumer from your state, I felt it was my responsibility to bring to your attention the following incident.
on 3-07-04 my wife and i stayed at the days inn traveling from pa to fl.several rooms lost power in the late evening but not all. We weren't ever informed of the situation and didnt know we could go to a room with power. we woke to no lights,heat, or hot water for a shower after 12 hours of driving and 12 to go.my car had heat at least and had i known this was going to happen, we would have kept driving with the same exhaustion and saved my hard earned money! 9 hours after the power failure still no one was there with the authority to handle the situation. We were told to contact the corp. office for a refund and after 10 days and 7 e-mails to a bridget sullivan (BridgetSullivan2@rsd.cendant.com) i got 1 response saying she can't help! the location shoves me off to the corp office and the office shoves me off to the location.
As a resolution, I would like the following:
I would just like my money refunded for not getting the service i paid for. An apology would be nice but not necessary.:-)
