Mexicana Airlines Complaint - Mexicana Airlines Have No Customer Service For The Stranded
MEXICO CITY, MAINE -- I found the Mexicana Airlines totally lacking in concern about their customers who are stranded due to their judgment calls.
We knew when we boarded the original plane from Puerto Vallarta that it would be impossible to make our connection in Mexico City but they kept saying maybe we would- well - we didn't and many of us were stranded there and also with no knowledge of our luggage location.
I won't go into the lack of help but I want to tell you after 5 hrs. I got my luggage and no satisfaction about how I would get home but it turned out to be next day departure all they could offer.
I didn't know what to do or where to go, fortunately I met a couple who were in same situation and they went to the Hilton at their expense as it was right there at the Airport. I did same as I was told by a Mexicana representative when I finally reached the counter in long lineup that I wouldn't get a voucher for meals, taxi or a Hotel--Sorry- it wasn't his mistake.
I got a flight the next day home and while waiting to board I talked to others and most got treated same way but some DID get hotels and vouchers for meals--how come we didn't?
My biggest compliant is the Airline people knew we wouldn't make the connecting flight so why did they board us and cost us another night in a strange place--I could have returned to a condo my sister had free but now I have a $350. charge due to their error.
It pays to go with the "Big Boys" not these cheapie Airlines, they are rude, ignorant and worse thing is no one cared. How about some English speaking help being posted at the gates for help also? I will not travel with Mexicana Airlines again--never-never.
