Captain D's Compliment - Good Service!

AUSTELL, GEORGIA -- When I walked in I was greeted with a friendly smile and a hello. (What a concept! Slacker businesses, please take note.)

I went into this location on Friday and asked for the Fried Clam Dinner only to discover they only serve that dish on Wednesdays and Sundays (I think it's on the Seniors menu). So while I stood there with my family ordering and me trying to decide what I wanted instead, I was told they would make me the clams. Wow! How nice!

Everyone was pleasant and very helpful. Even the cook in the back said hello and asked if I was the one he was cooking the clams for. When I said yes and gave him a thank you and thumbs up he smiled and said he hoped I enjoyed my dinner.

See! This is what customer service is all about.

My hats off to the staff and management, you are awesome!

My local Captain D's (SE VA) has very friendly staff, as well. Not really my first choice for seafood, but I got to indulge my husband sometimes :).

The Captain D's in Mesa, AZ is also like this, very warm and friendly staff there...its shame that Skipper's in Lacey, WA can't be more like them!! We go into Skipper's and the staff there treats us like lepers because of the dogs....I've simply decided to not let it bother me and eat there anyhow. I'd be more inclined to get takeout there except its halfway across town and its cold before we get it home. However, we now have a Long John Silvers across the street and even walking I think I can get it home hot!

Thank you for the positive review. We don't have any of these in my area though.

I never go back to a business that I feel doesn't treat me well. Money talks. When enough people speak with their wallet, then the business has to take notice and try to improve service by figuring out where they are going wrong. If people would just stop being so accepting of bad treatment, we would see an increase in good customer service.
