Roper Gas Stoves Complaint - What The Huh? - Roper Gas Ranges

Review by Bite it Roper on 2009-03-26
The numbers on my oven and temperature dials have worn off-too quickly and easily. I now know why. Doesn't anyone think that $80 plus is too much for TWO STUPID KNOBS???? Someone should be ashamed and then explain why 2 pieces of round metal with numbers halfway drawn on should cost so much.

I learned my lesson-burned once but never again by Roper or Whirlpool!!

Hmmm...depending on how old it is, you could probably find those knobs at a salvage place.

Where dit you get the $80. price quote? Sears maybe. They should be considerably less than that. Some hardware stores carry generic knob kits that will fit most ranges.

quality is correct, you can go to almost any hardware store and pick up a package of generic knobs.I've seen some expensive knobs in my time, but $40 bones for one is a little harsh...The most expensive knob I've seen was a knob for a GE range...almost $30
