General Electric Company Complaint - F7 Error Code - Model JTP 18BODIBB
Model JTP 18BODIBB - Complaint
Replaced our appliances 4 years ago with GE. Since that time we have replaced the control module 5 times for the model JTP18BODIBB oven, it displays the F7 error code. We must leave the breaker off to the oven when not in use due to the fact that the oven will turn on HI BROIL on its own. We are concerned it may burn our house down. Contacted GE Customer Service they were no help. We also installed a GE microwave at the same time, it did catch fire the first 18 months we owned it. Replaced it with an Amana and have had no complaints. We have had no problems with our dishwasher it is a Kitchen Aid.
Our neighbor installed a GE dishwasher during this same time frame and after 4 service calls for the same problem replaced it with a Bosh, no problems. I would strongly recommend not buying any GE appliance.
