Dickwicks Complaint - No Warranty Offered - Magnetic Underlay

Review by Mibody on 2009-03-29
Some time back I purchased 2 Magnetic Underlays woolen that had a lifetime warranty or so they said.

I have now written and asked how I can claim as the underlay has lost all magnetic ability, and the reply I got was "It seems unlikely that the magnets are no longer magnetized. Perhaps it is time to replace the underlays for our premium cotton product. See our web site for all the details."

Pretty poor warranty service all they want to do is sell you a new underlay.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is a Dickwick?

I would try to escalate the claim to someone higher in the company. You are right, they do indeed claim to offer a lifetime warranty, and should stand by it.

Their phone number is listed on the website under Contact information, maybe you could start there:

PHONE 61.3.9419.3177
FAX 61.3.9419.5236

I could, but I won't.
This company is one that claims magnets will cure just about anything.

ejack...go to my page. It is not 'allowed' to post 'comments regarding moderation on review threads'.

Very funny, yaya! Glad I saw it before the Purity Police clamor for it's removal.

It was something to the effect that someone paid 119 dollars for a phony baloney magnetic cure...

Nah...you still got common sense and ain't particularly worried if someone's "feelings get hurt".
Posted by ejack053824 on 2009-03-30:
Appreciate the vote of confidence there Jktshff1! Your right...I could care less about someones feelings getting hurt. If people can't handle the blunt truth then I have no use for them.
