Sprint PCS Complaint - Referral gone bad
NEW YORK -- I've had my phone for well over 5 years. I think that back in that time, the customer care department was better. But the "wannabe customer service agents they have now have disgusted me. My fiancee was tired of her old phone company so I told her about Sprint and how she would enjoy that service a lot better. That was a huge mistake. When she initially opened the account, she specified that she wanted to take her number with her and that she needed the phone to go to her business address. The representative told her that she can continue to use her old phone until she receives her new phone. Her old phone was diconnected the same night. That was strike 1.
Next day we decide to call the service provider and they said it was out of their hands and it's no longer their number... fine. Called Sprint PCS and the answer she got was "THINGS HAPPEN" and you will just have to wait. Now, I don't know how other people are with their cell phones, but when you're an attorney and clients are talking to a bogus voicemail that cannot be accessed, it tends to be very unprofesional and costly.
I personally could not beleive what I was hearing from her until I called. I must have bounced back and forth from CUSTOMERCARE & TELESERVICE at least 5 times. By the time I fnally got to someone, they did not want anything to do with me and when I was put on hold the last time, I was hung up on.
I am currently still under contract and although I have not had problems with their reception and payment options, I still think it's best for me to leave to save myself the headache from a future problem.
My best advice to you all potential customers is do your research. The phone service is not bad, the customer service however need to be replaced or sent to anger management classes...
