PARAMUS, NEW JERSEY -- My husband and I decided to buy a couch because he's had his for more than 30 years (!!) and 2nd I'm pregnant so I needed something comfortable. Initially, I was going to get a recliner but then decided to change to a couch that also had a recliner. Thus we chose the multiplex. We sat on the multiplex for a long time, tested the recliners and it was SOOOO comfortable. If you want to know what it looks like, etc. just check the Bob's website.
The first time we went to Bob's on a Thursday evening, the salesmen said hello but otherwise left us alone. We sat on all the couches and recliners that caught our eye, finally settling on the multiplex. We visited their cafe that (wow!) offered free refreshments to customers such as ice cream, coffee, cappuccino, candies, lemonade, to name a few. We didn't purchase anything on our first visit as we had to determine if the multiplex would fit our living room. It did, so a week later, we decided to go back to Bob's again and if we were truly satisfied buy the couch then and there.
On our 2nd visit Saturday midday, there were a lot of salesmen lounging around. One young guy said introduced himself and asked if we needed help. We said we were fine at the moment. During our walk, another salesmen asked if we needed help but we said we were fine and that the other guy had already introduced themselves. Then we made a decision to buy the couch so we called the young man back. He basically didn't have to do much work as we had already decided to get the multiplex couch. We did ask him a few questions that he answered such as the goof proof protection (which we bought since we have a cat and an incoming child on the way) The goof proof was for 5 years, $100. Amazingly, the salesman said that delivery could be made in 3 days. The delivery service would call us and let us know what the time delivery window would be. For us it was Tuesday, 2pm to 5pm.
On Tuesday, at 2pm prompt, our doorbell rang. Three Spanish guys came in with the multiplex couch. They did a great job! First off, they came at exactly 2pm. 2nd they unpacked the furniture nicely and neatly and threw the packaging, etc. I had no complaints whatsoever.
Bottom line, I am very happy with Bob's Discount Furniture delivery and service (so far) I actually read this website first and I was very hesitant as I noticed quite a few complaints on deliveries and customer service. On the delivery side, I would have to say they were perfect. If anything does come up where I may need customer service or goof proof service, I will be sure to update my review.
