Symantec Corporation Complaint - Inefficient Renewal Process Again This Year
Once again this year it is time to renew my Norton security subscription. Once again I waste over an hour of my time because of their poorly designed renewal process. You would think that they would make it easy for an existing customer to remain a customer but they don't.
This year after trying to upsell me to a bigger package, I ordered the basic renewal. After my order is complete the download screen tried to upsell me again!
After the download, uninstall, reboot, install, reboot - a popup tells me that I have 15 days of free trial. I just paid for the subscription but now I have to find the product key which does not come in the email as they say it will, and register on a separate screen.
How difficult can they make this???
