National Floors Direct Complaint - Nightmare / Worst Customer Service / Poor Communication
We have made 4 separate installation appointments for hardwood stairs and flooring over the past week and a half. On the first installation date, I received a confirmation from the installer on my cell phone indicating that they were 20 minutes away form our house and on their way while my husband was on the home line with customer service who indicated that the installer's truck had broken down, so they would need to reschedule! On the second installation attempt, they showed up 4 1/2 hours late with the wrong materials for the job. We refused to accept the materials they brought.
On the 3rd installation date, no show/no call. My husband and I were on hold for hours at a time with no satisfaction. I finally got through to a supervisor, Charles, who indicated that he would take care of everything for us and make things right. We attempted to schedule again.
On the night before the 4th installation date, I called customer service to confirm and then within 5 minutes received a call from customer service to confirm. On the day of the installation, we received a voice mail message from customer service confirming the installation. Then---no show. We called customer service and after waiting on hold on 3 separate phones for over 45 minutes, we were told again today that they could not do the job as promised by the Supervisor.
Today, we cancelled the job. Apparently, National Floors Direct does not need the business. The economy has no effect on them. Take your business elsewhere!
