Acer Complaint - Acer Laptops Suck! - My Laptop Died After A Year
ASHEVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA -- So I was definitely tempted by the affordable price of the acer laptops. I bought one for around 500 bucks. We are a year and one month after purchasing and the hard drive and the mother board are both dead. The tech who checked it out said I would be better off buying a new laptop then pouring more money into this one. Naturally, I thought that the customer service would want a client to be happy and so I contacted Acer customer service on acer.com. They emailed me back and forth with almost automated emails which did not answer my questions, or give me the information I needed. I asked when my warranty ran out, and they said I had purchased the laptop a month before I did, per the serial number. Basically, a total waste of money.
DO NOT BUY ACER LAPTOPS OR PRODUCTS AT ALL. ACER PRODUCTS ARE NOT BUILT TO LAST. THEY ARE BUILT TO FALL APART RIGHT AFTER YOUR WARRANTY LAPSES. DO NOT BUY ACER PRODUCTS UNLESS YOU LOVE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND BAD POORLY WORKING PRODUCTS.
